Bushman’s Kloof Wilderness Reserve & Wellness Retreat

Overview

Even in a wilderness between the majestic Cederberg Mountains and the vast plains of the Great Karoo, time moves on. Ancient cultures disappear…but not without a trace. At this five-star ecological oasis, luxury unites with nature for an experience that will invigorate your body and feed your soul. Witness the wonder of San bushman rock art, many thousands of years old, yet depicting the very same landscape and myriad creatures that your 21st century eyes see around you.

Accommodating a maximum of 32 guests, all suites and guest rooms are elegantly appointed and furnished to create a feeling of restfulness and peace.
Private terraces command magnificent views. Newlyweds can indulge in spacious suites, a cosy fireplace, a separate sitting room and an en-suite designer bathroom at the Paterson Suite or Supreme Suite.

For families or small group of friends, the Koro Lodge has two Master bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and a loft area that can accommodate 4 children, a lounge with fireplace, a bar, a kitchen and dining room plus a veranda and pool deck shaded by ancient ficus trees.

Enjoy sunset game drives, rock art tours, botanical walks, mountain hikes and bird watching. Adventurers can abseil; fly-fishing aficionados can opt for a day excursion to the Biedouw River.

Retreat from the heat in a crystal clear natural rock pool or one of the swimming pools. Total relaxation is guaranteed at the superb spa with its many body and beauty treatments.
