Itinerary
Day 1 – Nairobi. 1 night, Palacina Residence & Suites. BB
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta airport you’ll be welcomed and transferred to the beautiful Palacina. Its tranquil setting is your first step towards relaxation.
Day 2, 3, 4 — Meru National Reserve, 3 nights Elsa’s Kopje Camp. FI
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport to connect with a scheduled flight to Meru (09:15 / 10:50). On arrival at the airstrip, you’ll be met by a representative from the Elsa’s Kopje for your transfer to the camp.
Nothing epitomises the irresistible beauty of Africa like the story of Elsa the lioness. Soak up the essence of Kenya on the Mughwango hillside, site of George Adamson´s original camp in Meru National Park, where conservation in action lives on to support local communities and wildlife, alike. Elsa´s Kopje (small hill) offers just nine stone and thatch guest cottages. Each is uniquely designed and furnished. Bathrooms feature stunning stone baths, bidets and double basins.
Activities include bush breakfasts, sundowners, cultural visits, game drives and bushwalks accompanied by professional guides and rangers.
Day 5, 6, 7 — Masai Mara Game Reserve, 3 nights Saruni Mara Lodge. FI
Take a leisurely breakfast and a morning activity before your transfer to the airstrip to connect with scheduled flight to Masai Mara (Departs09h30 - Arrives 11h00).
Your guide will meet you at the airstrip for game drive transfer to the Saruni Cottages.

Saruni´s location is perfect for spectacular views of the wildebeest migration. Just 12 guests can be accommodated in luxury, purpose-built cottages, gorgeously and uniquely decorated with antiques and Persian carpets. No opportunity to revel in the wilderness is lost — enjoy a bath with a view or admire the Mara plains without leaving your veranda. Even bedtime is an adventure.
Lie back on your massive cedar bed and view passing elephant, impala and leopard. Masai trackers and guides make game drives and safari walks a magical experience with their encyclopaedic knowledge and uncanny skills which will bring you face to face with the glories of local flora and fauna. Visits to local communities give opportunities to mingle with Masai and learn more about their fascinating culture.
Day 8 to 11 – Lamu. 4 nights, Manda Bay. FI
Before your transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight, linger over a long breakfast at camp or splash out on a dawn hot air balloon ride as sunlight blushes the searing Mara skyscape. You’ll arrive in Nairobi in time to connect with a scheduled service to Lamu. Once there, you’ll be met and transferred to Manda Bay located on theLamu archipelago and encircled by Marine Reserve. The twelve cottages are constructed to reflect the artisan heritage of Lamu culture. Seven of these are set right on the seafront. The seven doubles and five twins enable families to adapt rooms to a comfortable triple layout. All rooms have ceiling fans and en suite bathrooms.
Along the sandy shoreline you’ll find your banda constructed in the local Swahili style using palm thatch and woven matting floors. Miles of wild, uninhabited coastline offers a wide variety of water sports including snorkelling, diving, boating and fishing.
Day 12 – Departure.
On your final morning there’s still time to sigh over the stunning beach as you take a last stroll before a leisurely breakfast. After connecting with a flight to Wilson, you’ll be met and transferred to JKI to meet your international flight arrangements.
